POLICIES & PROCEDURES
VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS
All appointments will be held via videoconferencing on a HIPAA-compliant electronic platform or via telephone in the event that computer access is not available at the appointment time or if telephone appointments are simply preferred.

Appointments are expected to occur in a private space in order to ensure client confidentiality. Meeting inside one’s vehicle is completely acceptable if preferred by the client; HOWEVER, driving during sessions is strictly prohibited for client safety.

Please plan to sign in to your appointment at least 5 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time using the link provided. Your appointment will begin shortly after your arrival in the virtual waiting room.
All virtual appointments require that clients must be physically located in state of Massachusetts at the time of appointment; otherwise, appointments will require cancellation and rescheduling and be subject to a late cancellation charge.
LATE APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation of or rescheduling an appointment within less than 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in a $100.00 late cancellation fee.
Cancellation of or rescheduling an appointment within less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in a $200.00 late cancellation fee.
MEDICATION REFILL REQUESTS
Medication refill requests are preferred one of two ways: 1) via electronic request utilizing the online patient portal (preferred), or 2) via telephone at the office main line: 508-507-2066.
Medication refill requests are fulfilled during normal business hours Mondays through Fridays within 48 hours of the time they are received. Whenever possible, please avoid delaying refill requests until the date of the last dose of medication remaining in order to avoid possible interruption in treatment and/or worsening of psychiatric symptoms.

Controlled substances—like all prescription psychiatric medications—are expected to be taken *only as directed* for patient safety and therefore will not be refilled early under any circumstances.
PAYMENTS
It is the expectation of the patient to pay for services at the time of the scheduled appointment. All patients must provide and maintain an active credit card on file which may automatically be charged for payment when due.
